Number is the first topic that we look at in mathematics, when we start to count and learn how to use arithmetic. But as a topic it grows in complexity all the way through to university level and beyond.

At this level we will split our topic of number into three different areas:

A. Whole numbers;

B. Part numbers;

C. Ratio & Proportion.
