When we deal with 3D shapes and we want to know the space that they cover we measure the volume.
We can measure volume using cubic centimetres. 1 cubic centimetre can be written as 1cm3.

Again, there are quicker ways than counting centimetre cubes. If we know the length, the width and the height of a cuboid, we can calculate its volume by multiplying them all together.
