Y9. Shape & Space. Rotations

  • With a geometrical rotation, 3 things must be specified:
    • Magnitude (i.e. size of angle);
    • Direction (i.e. clockwise or anticlockwise); and
    • Centre.

We need to be able to “do” rotations and to identify which rotation has been done. Finding the centre of rotation can sometimes be a little fiddly.
