When we need to draw a graph to represent information, we must always take care with accuracy, using a ruler to ensure the axes are straight and choosing our scale carefully (how many do you think are a sensible number of steps on a scale so that the graph will be useful?)
If the graph is drawn accurately, we will be able to use it to read off new information.
